Oppo Reno 11 Pro Review: Design
This is a slim and lightweight smartphone and you can feel it the moment you hold the device in your hand. It weighs around 181 grams and is 7.66mm thick. Also, dual 3D curved front and back covers offer a comfortable grip. The Oppo Reno 11 Pro uses a mix of polycarbonate and glass to give the back cover a marble-like finish and this looks luxurious. The subtle shiny look is not just premium but fingerprint and smudges resistant as well. However, the device is a bit slippery.
The phone looks sturdy and has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the back.
Oppo Reno 11 Pro Review: Display
The Oppo Reno 11 comes with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display that supports 120Hz dynamic refresh rate. The bezels are thin and appear thinner on the sides because of curved edges. The smartphone offers a 93 per cent screen-to-body ratio and is protected by Dragontrail Star 2 glass.
The display offers a crisp viewing experience and the text looks sharp while used indoors. It is HDR 10+ certified so you can enjoy your favourite content but there's no stereo speaker, which would have enhanced the viewing experience. The peak brightness offered here is 950 nits which is decent but could have been better.
Oppo Reno 11 Pro Review: Performance and Software
The Oppo Reno 11 Pro is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset and has 12GB of LPPDR5x and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device is powerful enough to handle all your daily tasks smoothly and let you even multitask. You can even play games like Asphalt 9, but not for an extended duration.

The smartphone boots on ColorOS 14, based on Android 14. It offers several user-friendly features like a file dock, smart image matting, infrared remote control and LinkBoost for a stable signal. But it continues to come with several pre-installed apps. The good thing is that Oppo is promising three years of major Android OS updates - making the smartphone future-ready.
Oppo Reno 11 Pro Review: Charging and Battery
The smartphone has a 4600mAh battery and supports 80W SUPERVOOC charging. The battery is sufficient enough to easily last for an entire in almost all circumstances. You can juice up the device from zero to 100 per cent in around 40 minutes. However, the device does not support wireless charging.
Oppo Reno 11 Pro Review: Camera
The OPPO Reno 11 Pro has a triple camera setup at the back with a primary sensor of a 50-megapixel (Sony IMX890) with optical image stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera sensor (Sony IMX355) and a 32MP telephoto camera sensor (Sony IMX709). For selfies, the smartphone has a 32MP camera sensor on the front.
The rear camera setup delivers good images and manages to retain natural colours in daylight. Images have good details and look vibrant in well-lit conditions. The portrait mode is really good with nice edge detection.
I found the camera to be working well in street-lit conditions. The images have a good dynamic range and offer a balance between light and shadow.
However, the performance in low light is average. The portrait mode controls background bokeh and bokeh flare very well.
Selfies from the front-facing camera are good but the edge-detection was not always accurate, especially around the metal frame of spectacles.
Overall, this smartphone clicks good images and the best thing is that they look real in almost all lighting conditions.
Oppo Reno 11 Pro Review: Verdict
There are a lot of options when it comes to smartphones below Rs 40,000. However, if you are someone who loves flaunting your device and doesn't want to miss any opportunity to click photographs, the Oppo Reno 11 Pro can be a good option for you. However, the device still has no IP ratings and doesn't provide features like stereo speakers and wireless charging - offered by competitors. If you can ignore these, Oppo Reno 11 is worth the price tag.
